Day III Bowling

The process starts again this week. Today I start off with the end aiming and shooting approach and full four steps approach. Since the details to the two techniques had been explained in the last two journal entries, it does not to be repeated.

Today I learned the one step technique. Just like the four steps technique, it’s a technique of the approach, but with only one step. To do this, I stand close to the foul line, around meter away. I stand with both my knees bent, left arm hanging in midair, and right arm swings the ball. The coach told me to do this, until I feel ready to roll the ball. This position trained me to aim better at the pins with a more steady position. When I felt ready, the coach told me to roll the ball.

I did what he told me to, but I ended up horrible. I learned my mistake; I was not not doing the stepping well. What I should do was move my left leg front first, and then release the ball. I redo the steps again and again. Eventually, I was able to do it after one hour or so. It was tiring indeed, and my knee and thigh hurts real bad.  But it did pay off.
