So, this is the very first day of my Japanese lesson. First up, I got myself a local teacher, well this means more like an Indonesian teacher, not a native teacher. It would be very lucky for me to get a native, but I don’t have all the time in the world to look for a native. Anyway, he brought me the materials, which includes a course book and the teachers’ guide book.
Below, you’ll see an example of the course book I’m using. The book is written by Japanese authors and has been used for many students who wished to study in Japan or just for curiosity. So, in conclusion the book is reliable.
The teacher also has his own textbook, but sadly he didn’t bring it to him today. Fortunately, the course book that I hold has the teacher’s manual too. Below is the teacher’s manual for this course.
According to the course book and the teacher’s book, there are 23 lessons altogether. To cover all 23 lessons, it is required approximately 200 hours estimated on average. This time requirement is beyond what CAS requires, however, this does not stop me form learning the language. I will keep on learning and eventually be fluent as the natives.
